Your ballot,
finally explained.
CandidUSA is being built for people who want to vote informed, but don't always have the time to figure out who's actually on their ballot.
Follow alongCandid means open and straightforward. That's exactly what we think voting information should be.
City council, local judges, school board. The races that matter most are the hardest ones to research.
We're building this with real voters in mind and want your input to shape what it becomes.
The name says it all.
Candid is a nod to the word candidate, but more importantly, it means being honest, open, and straightforward. That's exactly what we think voting information should be.
We're not political scientists or lobbyists. We're people like you who care about voting but know how hard it is to find clear, simple information about everyone on your ballot.
Most of us can name our senators. But what about your city council race? Your local judges? The school board candidates?
Those races matter, and they're the hardest ones to research.
CandidUSA started from a simple frustration: even well-informed people struggle to know who they're actually voting for beyond party lines. We think that's worth fixing.
We're starting in Columbus and Ohio as a whole, and we're being honest with you about where we are: early. But we're building this with real voters in mind, and we want your input to shape what it becomes.
